"I can't make sense of this"

Welcome to 'Dee' thoughts'.

if you are reading this you have reached my personal website and I am glad you are here. I will be posting regularly so become a follower and send me an email. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

If you are like me at all, you have had times in your life where "the things around you or the things happening to you "just don't make any sense". You can't figure them out, you just don't understand why?  We all have fallen into the trap of asking 'why', and trying to figure things out that just don't seem to go anywhere.

What does the Lord tell us about this? Hebrews 11:1 tells us....Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This Scripture is in part telling us that we are not always going to 'see' what is ahead of us or always have an explanation about what is going on around us and with us. But we can know from this Scripture that it is 'faith' that we need to stand on and let everything else be given to God.

This is a difficult place for us humans to walk in, but essential if we are to exercise our faith and learn to trust in the Lord for and in all things. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. We have to ask ourselves this question, "Do I have to have understanding and insight into all things", especially those things that I don't always see clearly at the time?

Sometimes it is not healthy for us to have a lot of information that will just flood our thought life continually and burden us down with things that I cannot do anything about, and that God  would probably just as soon want to protect me from. It is good to have knowledge because the Bible tells us to seek Godly knowledge not worldly knowledge. Titus 1:1-3 ; 2 peter 3:18.

So remember, whek things happen that we cannot make sense of, we know we have a God who knows all things and one day everything will become perfectly clear. For now, walk the walk of faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knowing for sure....that in Him, He is in control, and one day all things will make perfect sense to us. Let us walk the walk of faith trusting and leaning on Him.

Blessings and love
