The Seasons Of Life

Hello Everyone

Here we are in the fullness of the Christmas Season which is almost here, just 2 more days away. I hope you are all done with your shopping, but if not join the rest of us. May this Christmas be the very best and give you all great joy as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is truly the "Gift-Giver". I hope you enjoy this message and enjoy the time you will spend with all those that you love and hold dear to your heart. For those of you who may not be able to be with loved ones this year or have lost a loved one, may the Lord put his loving arms around you this season and fill you with his love and peace.

                                                           The Seasons Of Life

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalms 1:1-3

I am a farm girl born and raised and one of three siblings. Recently we were all together, just the three of us and our conversations took us back to our childhood days of long ago. It also involved us taking a road trip back to our first country home that we all remembered so well.

Even though the original farmhouse is gone now it holds for us many memories as we could still see the old barn still standing in all its glory, as much as if to say I am not gone yet! As we reminisced and shared stories and visited familiar places, we were all filled with a sense of pride and togetherness that bound us all together in one spirit. As we re-visited our growing up years we could not deny the “Seasons Of Life” that had now passed by no longer visible to us, except for the memories that we all shared and our love for one another.

There is a Time and a Season for all of us just like what we experienced recently where we can revisit where we have come from but also, now fully embrace future seasons of life that are yet to come. Every breath we take every bird we hear sing is a reminder of how good God is to us. Let our hearts sing of gratitude and thankfulness for what we have, what we have had, and what is to come.
