A Season For Everything

Hello Everyone,

Well, the snow has arrived. It has not disappointed us! The snow is a reminder of this new season we are in now (winter). But like all seasons whether it be in nature or in our own personal lives, "this to will pass with time". We may prefer one season more than another, but all seasons of life have a purpose to fulfill and a specific time frame to do it in. Enjoy this word of encouragement:

THERE IS A SEASON FOR EVERYTHING

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalms 1:3

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1.  God also tells us, blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever he does prospers. Psalms 1:1-3

For those like my-self who live in a part of the country where we see the changing of seasons, it is evident that through God’s wonderful plan and purposes for us, that He gives us a glimpse of life ever revolving threw the changing of seasons . In the spring, the tilling of soil for planting accompanied with signs of new birth bursting forth in and through all things. The brilliant colors of fresh flowers and green grass once dormant now accompanied with the singing of birds as the warm rays of the sun bring new life.

Like the changing of seasons in nature, it is also true in our lives as well. There is a season for everything. God makes everything beautiful in His time Ecclesiastes 3:11

As every season in life has a purpose, so it is with every season of our life. Our life (given to us by God) is not really our life. It is on loan from our Heavenly Father. He gives us life and He will call us home one day. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field, the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. Psalm 103:15-16

Embrace whatever season of life you are in, it is a gift from God. Every season has its purpose and every circumstance and situation we find ourselves in will one day be a memory. Remember you are not alone and everything we experience, the happy and the sad has its place in the heart of God.

Have a great day

Blessings, Dee
