How Do We Look At Failure?

 

Morning Everyone, Thank you for joining me today. today we are going to talk about 'Failure'. This is a topic most of us look at as something we try to avoid in our own lives as much as possible. Right? Well let's look at it from another view...Let's get started;

Remember the day when you felt like you could do anything? That nothing could touch you! I do, especially when I was young. I was a dare-Devil so to speak! I would do things challenging with no fear of what may happen to me or those around me for that matter. I thought I was untouchable! Ever feel that way? Now when I look back on those days I wonder how I got through some of those situations without a scratch. I know now it was not because of anything I did or could do in my own strength.

Now today, I am older and hopefully I have learned some things along the way. One thing I have learned is that I cannot live life all by myself with no help from anyone or from God. I gave my heart and life to Jesus a long time ago, when I was 26 years old. It has been a fulfilling life that has included failures and victories. 

For many, failing in something that is devastating. Perhaps you thought there was no temptation that was to great to overcome. Your future was full of hope and for the first time you knew what it was like to taste the peace of forgiveness and joy. There was nothing to impossible to do.

But it did not last and you find yourself face to face with things that you thought was left behind. That temper, jealousy, pride, etc. has come back. You try your best to overcome it but it seems to prevail.We begin to see more failures and less victories in our daily life. We began to feel a great lack within us.

There is good news! Jesus knew from the beginning we would fail and we would also have victories. God does not beat us down when we fail, we do! Do not let your failures have the final say, but rather, let them become your victories. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen Ephesians 3:20-21
