Good morning everyone
Thank you for joining me this morning, I so appreciate you and hope these blogs bring insight and encouragement to your life . Today let’s talk about what happens when the fog sets in. All of us have seen and/or driven in fog at some time or another and it is not very pleasant is it?
When it comes it seems to come out of nowhere with no warning! Seems like one minute we can see clearly and the next we can’t see anything. Fog usually sets in gradually and drifts in a little at a time until we can’t see anything at all in front of us.
Fog parallel’s our lives in many ways. One minute everything seems so clear to us, the path we are on and where it is taking us seems very clear. We are hopeful and excited for what the future holds. Then, fog set’s in and we find ourselves in a crisis feeling fatigued and anxious . Our once positive path is now beginning to fade right before our eyes. . Now, all of a sudden that path we were on has become a path of doubt and we are losing our way.
Sometimes God will use the events of our lives to guide us and to get our attention. Our security is in God and He wants us to trust in Him not and not in our own strength to get where we are going. It is in those times of anxiety, worry and doubt that He is the closest. We cannot fix those things that go wrong in our lives even though we may think we can. Our way and efforts may work for a time but it is in those times when we don’t know what to do or when we feel the most helpless that the Lord is the closest.
Jesus promised to give us peace John 14:27, so if your path has become cloudy trust in Him and He will lead you out of the fog.
